Baltic Event
The largest regional film market, and best place to meet the Baltic film industry, BALTIC EVENT, will take place for the eighth time this year. And for the fifth time, the Baltic Event Co-production market brings together intriguing, challenging, and promising projects with the best producers from the region and representatives of international sales and distribution companies.
Co-production market
12 original, intriguing, and perhaps even controversial projects from the latest members of the European Union, Russia and Scandinavia are presented.
The Baltic Event Co-production Market is an opportunity to present your project to decisionmakers, or to find the perfect project to have on your slate, during an intensive two-day event. The market is set up around one-to-one meetings between project representatives and potential financiers. All meetings are organized by our team in advance, making the time you spend in Tallinn as productive as possible.
You also have the opportunity to network with other professionals, and make contacts regarding potential co-production in or with the region, during our many social engagements, panels, and events. Participation in the Baltic Event Co-production Market gives producers an efficient possibility to create or extend their international network.
Market Screenings
During the Market Screenings, the newest features from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are screened for international TV and film professionals – sales agents, distributors, TV buyers and festival representatives are invited. Be the first to discover the freshest film production in the Baltic States!
Coming Soon
The Coming Soon program screens trailers of Baltic film projects in post-production, with the aim of bringing them together with sales agents and distributions. A first peek at the exciting film year ahead in the Baltic countries!
Industry Day
Our latest addition is a special day of panels and discussions focused on a relevant, professional theme for local producers. 2008 brought VoD into focus, and future editions will continue to provide the information that regional producers need to remain at the forefront of the industry.
